On the 30th of March 2014, the Saints women travelled to Dundee for the Tayside and Fife Cup Final where they faced Dundee University.
This was the last game for the women, and for some, their last competitive game in a Saints jersey.
With that in mind, the woman set out to defend their title.
The game was close from the start, with Saints retaining the lead for most of the game, closely contended by Dundee. By the 4th quarter, Saints saw themselves only a few points down to Dundee, who took the lead after a fast scoring surge in the paint. Both teams fought hard, but it was Dundee who got the win, beating the Saints by a cruel 4 point deficit.
Final score: 72 - 68 to Dundee.
A tough loss for the Saints, but the girls still came away with the runners up medal after a well fought game.
